Palmetto Charter School’s Board of Directors meets several times a year. Meetings are open to the public and parents are encouraged to attend. Meetings are held in our cafeteria and begin at 3:30 pm. Our planned meeting dates for the 2025-2026 school year are:

Unresolved Student Welfare Policy
HB 1557 and F.A.C 6A-6.0791: Requires charter schools to adopt procedures for Unresolved Student Welfare Complaints, with the expressed concern/complaint process available to parents on charter school’s website. You may view our policy here.
Out of Field
Florida State Law requires that we report to parents the names of teachers who are teaching outside their subject area. The teachers in the attachments for the reporting period have college degrees and state teaching certificates; however, they are teaching outside their certification area or are in the process of completing course-work to enable them to teach limited English proficient students (ESOL). Please be assured that these teachers are competent to teach your children. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the school.
